Fresh, free, and unusual ingredients can be found growing in the heart of the city… if you know where to look!
Join our experienced guide, Michele of Edible Landscaping, for a tasty tour of Bute Park. There will be plenty of things to pick and try along the way and you’ll learn about the many uses of foraged plants as well as the essentials of safe and ethical foraging.
Children are very welcome on this foraging walk and we’ll provide some activities just for them. And, if you get the foraging bug, we’ll be back in the autumn to explore the park again for some more seasonal wild ingredients.
About your tutor: Michele runs her business, Edible Landscaping as well as teaching several courses at Cardiff Centre for Lifelong Learning.
We try to keep ticket prices as low as possible so that our workshops are affordable and accessible. We are able to offer a limited amount of free tickets to those on low incomes so please get in touch if you wish to attend a workshop but feel that the cost is prohibitive.
