If you can’t tell a hammer from a hacksaw then this workshop could be just what you need!
You’ll learn to choose tools and materials and pick up useful carpentry skills that will prepare you to take on projects at home. Our experts tutor Ben will help you work carefully and safely so can tackle basic DIY and carpentry jobs with confidence.
This workshop is based at NuLife Furniture’s workshop off Dumballs Road and led by skilled tutor Ben.
About your tutor: NuLife Furniture refurbish preloved furniture to reduce waste and provide furniture at affordable prices. Ben has been managing NuLife furniture since 2014 when we first opened. He has learned all of his carpentry skills through hands on work and has worked his way up from making chopping boards to dining tables and pretty much anything else you can imagine out of reclaimed timber.
We try to keep ticket prices as low as possible so that our workshops are affordable and accessible. We are able to offer a limited amount of free tickets to those on low incomes so please get in touch if you wish to attend a workshop but feel that the cost is prohibitive.
