Event Details

Join us at the Global Gardens community allotment to learn about the secrets of seed saving.

Learn all about different types of seeds, how to save them and why it's beneficial to do so. We'll be looking at how you prepare to grow for seed, harvesting, storing and swapping. This workshop is for anyone who is growing in their own garden, allotment or community growing space.

About your tutors: This is a collaborative workshop - Poppy (Global Gardens) , Michele (Edible Landscaping), Chris Fowler (The chilli man) and Becca (Green Squirrel) have been experimenting with seed saving for several years and have come together to share their tips and tricks.

Accessibility: Please note that our workshop venue is at a local community allotment site. Please get in touch when you book if this poses a problem for you and we will make plans to ensure you’re able to attend and be comfortable. Please let us know if we can make any other accommodations to help you enjoy the workshop.

Free places: We try to keep ticket prices as low as possible so that our workshops are affordable and accessible. If you’d like to attend but the ticket price is preventing you then please get in touch as we have a limited number of free spaces available on each workshop; you won’t be asked to provide any further information but we do ask people to contact us to ensure free spaces are fairly distributed.
