I am sorry to say that we have postponed this workshop due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The safety and health of our tutors, participants and community is our top priority.

This decision has not been made lightly and we are very aware of the impact that cancelling our events has on our freelance tutors, local venues and our participants. Please be assured that we are honouring our payments to tutors and venues and are looking into exciting new ways to deliver virtual workshops to our Green Squirrel community and keep everyone connected.

In order to support our local social enterprise you can still book onto the workshop to attend at a future date or purchase a gift voucher for a future workshop. If you have already purchased a ticket then you will receive further information from us via email.

Do you want to reduce waste and make your home more sustainable?

From upcycled homewares to sweet-smelling DIY cleaning products, this workshop will take you through practical activities to keep your home green, efficient and minimise your household waste. Our tutors will share their helpful tips to set you well on the way to low impact living, from easy swaps to help you ditch plastic to homemade cleaning products and eco-friendly tools to keep your home plastic and chemical free.

About your tutors: Becca and Hannah have been experimenting with low waste living in their own homes for several years and now they are sharing their favourite tried and tested recipes, tips and tricks with communities across Cardiff.

Accessibility: Please note that our workshop venue is downstairs at Little Man Coffee, please get in touch when you book if this poses a problem for you and we will make plans to ensure you’re able to attend and be comfortable. Please let us know if we can make any other accommodations to help you enjoy the workshop.

Free places: We try to keep ticket prices as low as possible so that our workshops are affordable and accessible. If you’d like to attend but the ticket price is preventing you then please get in touch as we have a limited number of free spaces available on each workshop; you won’t be asked to provide any further information but we do ask people to contact us to ensure free spaces are fairly distributed.
