Buy Botanical inks - postponed Tickets
I am sorry to say that we have postponed this workshop due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The safety and health of our tutors, participants and community is our top priority.
This decision has not been made lightly and we are very aware of the impact that cancelling our events has on our freelance tutors, local venues and our participants. Please be assured that we are honouring our payments to tutors and venues and are looking into exciting new ways to deliver virtual workshops to our Green Squirrel community.
In order to support our local social enterprise you can still book onto the workshop to attend at a future date or purchase a gift voucher for a future workshop. If you have already purchased a ticket then you will receive further information from us via email.
Please follow us on social media or sign up to our newsletter to stay connected.

Learn how to make your own plant based inks using natural foraged materials!
Our tutor Cat will introduce you to the art and science of botanical ink making. Cat will demonstrate her alchemical processes, using gathered plants, flowers and berries and some simple everyday chemistry to show you how to make sustainable inks for drawing and calligraphy.
All materials will be provided but it would be helpful for you to bring along any interesting paper or a sketch book that you might already have. We recommend wearing old clothes.
About your tutor: Cat runs ColourField, her workshops and online shop selling printed paper and textile products.
Accessibility: Please note that our workshop venue is downstairs at Little Man Coffee, please get in touch when you book if this poses a problem for you and we will make plans to ensure you’re able to attend and be comfortable. Please let us know if we can make any other accommodations to help you enjoy the workshop.
Free places: We try to keep ticket prices as low as possible so that our workshops are affordable and accessible. If you’d like to attend but the ticket price is preventing you then please get in touch as we have a limited number of free spaces available on each workshop; you won’t be asked to provide any further information but we do ask people to contact us to ensure free spaces are fairly distributed.
Other venues: If you’re interested in holding this workshop for your organisation or at another venue then please get in touch for a chat.
We are very grateful for the support of the Community Fund.- - - - - - - - -
