Virtual Grow-along

Join us for a friendly virtual grow-along as part of our Stay Home, Grow Your Own project!

We want to support and encourage lots of you to have a go at growing your own food at home during lockdown and beyond. You may have been lucky enough to receive some free plants via our giveaways but anyone is welcome to join these online sessions. Whether you are brand new to growing or have lots of experience we’d love you to join us.

The theme of our first grow-along is: Your Growing Space

Maybe you’re lucky enough to have a garden or allotment but maybe you’re growing on windows, in tiny urban spaces or out on the street - we want to see where you are growing and find out how you are using your space.

We’ll be joined by some of our project partners from Bute Park plant nursery, Eartha, Grow Cardiff , Growing Street Talk as well as other members of the Edible Cardiff network. They’ll be sharing their growing knowledge and lots of useful tips about growing in small urban spaces and taking care of your plants. 

We hope that this will be a fun opportunity to pick up new skills, meet our neighbours as well as connect our growing community across Cardiff.

This will be a friendly and informal zoom session and everyone is welcome. Feel free to join whilst you're eating your tea or hanging out with your kids!
